Zenith scoops top Customer Services Award

Zenith Provecta (the UK's largest independent fleet management company) has won a coveted Customer Service Award in the prestigious Fleet News Awards, held this month in London.

The Best Customer Services Initiative was awarded for Zenith 360, an independent and pro-active approach to managing customer satisfaction through driver interviews every time they have any contact with a Zenith Provecta employee or sub-contractor.

The judges were impressed with how the Zenith 360 system provides an independently audited measurement of customer satisfaction and prompts an immediate response to any problems the instant they arise. "Everybody aims and strives for great customer service, but Zenith Provecta achieves it," said one judge, "it is excellent and instantaneous".

The system gives Zenith Provecta the ability to measure the performance of sub-contracted suppliers and consequently ensures that a consistently high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.

Chief Executive Andrew Cope was there to collect the award on behalf of the Zenith Provecta team: "We are particularly delighted to receive an award, judged and voted by the industry, which recognises our customer service. We work very hard at it and although we have grown over the years to be the UK's largest independent fleet management company, we know that we have been able to maintain that personal touch when it comes to looking after drivers and keeping them mobile and productive."

The Fleet News Awards were judged by a panel of industry experts, chaired by former chief executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Christopher Macgowan, who commented: "Despite the difficulties being faced by the fleet industry, this year's awards attracted high-quality entries, and the theme running through many of them was innovation, safety and environmental awareness, which bodes well for the future".

Stephen Briers, editor of Fleet News, explains the importance of recognising best practice in the company car industry: "These awards are a showcase for talent and innovation that will inspire other fleet managers and industry suppliers with ideas than can be adopted and adapted to raise standards across the industry."
